CALATAGAN TRAIL RUN
“The word "Calatagan" is taken from the Tagalog word "latag" and is closely associated with "kapatagan", which means a vast portion of flat land lying between the hills and mountains. Thus, Calatagan means a large expanse of wide flat land.”
Calatagan is also known for its coastal beaches and resorts. The little known hills and the highest point called Mount Masawa are located at North-east portion of the town. The start and finish line will take place at the beach in Barangay Hukay.
This is a stunning venue for a trail running challenge and we advise participants to take a camera for the challenge and enjoy the view as they run.
